They won't turn you away at Ford Field for wearing a Matthew Stafford jersey Sunday night -- but they will at a bar around the corner.

With Stafford making his return to Detroit with the Rams for the Lions' first home playoff game in 30 years, Thomas Magee's, a popular game-day bar in Eastern Market, will deny entrance to any fan wearing Stafford's old threads.

"Please refrain from trying to enter Thomas Magee's on game day with Lions Stafford jerseys," the bar posted Wednesday on Facebook. "You’ll be turned away at the door. It’s our first home game in 30 years, use some common sense. Regards, Ownership."

Stafford said the game being in Detroit, where he spent the first 12 seasons of his career, will be "fun for me on a personal level."

"I know it's going to be rocking there," he said. "Haven't had a playoff game there in about 30 years or whatever it is, so it'll be a great atmosphere. It'll be a tough task for us, but definitely excited."
