Jameson Williams has hit another hurdle.
In the midst of his breakout season with the Lions, Williams has been suspended two games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy, per ESPN.
It's the second suspension in as many years for Williams, who missed the first four games of last season for violating the NFL's gambling policy. Williams also missed most of his rookie season rehabbing from a torn ACL. Now, another setback.
Williams, 23, told ESPN that he has "no choice but to take (the suspension) on the chin" and that he's in "good spirits just ready to get back with the my brothers ASAP."
Williams had 17 catches for 316 yards and three touchdowns through the Lions' first five games, ranking second in the NFL in yards per catch. He will miss games against the Titans and Packers while suspended.
