Injuries have decimated the Lions' defense this year, but it sounds like rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold dodged the bullet.
After leaving Detroit's win over the Vikings in the season finale and getting carted off the field with a foot injury, Arnold is "considered day-to-day with a foot contusion," per Ian Rapoport.
X-rays after the game were negative and Arnold said in the locker room, while wearing a boot on his right foot, that he fully expects to be back for the Lions' divisional round playoff game after their first-round bye: "Of course. I’m a warrior. I’m gonna do everything in my power to get out there with my guys, man."
"Like, when I got hurt today, I almost got emotional for the simple fact that I felt like I was letting my guys down," Arnold said. "If I have any moment or breath in my body, I want to be out there sharing it with them. And they know that. I will go out there and die for my teammates, man. That’s just the type of person I am. I really love this game."
Asked if he plans to play in two weeks, Arnold said, "C’mon, man! You know the answer to that question."
