Dan Campbell was talking to the Lions' athletic trainer in the team facility last week when, out of nowhere, "someone punches me against the wall," he said.

Unfazed by the blow, Campbell said he continued walking and talking with the trainer, "and then I get punched again."

"And I realize that it's Frank, and he's trying to show me that his pec is great," Campbell said Wednesday on 97.1 The Ticket. "That's his way of telling me, 'Look how strong I am. It's good, it's healed.'"

That would be Frank Ragnow, Detroit's Pro Bowl center who suffered a partially torn pec in the Lions' Week 3 win over the Cardinals that sidelined him for their Week 4 win over the Seahawks.

Needless to say, Ragnow is "in a good mindset, he's ready, and he wants to go" after two weeks of rest coming off the Lions' bye, said Campbell. Barring a setback, Ragnow will be back out there Sunday against the Cowboys.

"Frank, as we all know, is as throwback as they get," said Campbell, who's pretty throwback himself. "He will play through any injury and will himself to go."
