It's one step forward, several steps back for the Lions.
While Jeff Okudah was a full participant at practice Wednesday after missing the season-opener with a hamstring injury, Kenny Golladay and Desmond Trufant didn't practice at all. Right tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai was sidelined as well.
Golladay (hamstring) and Vaitai (foot) also missed Week 1, while Trufant (hamstring) went down midway through the game.
The Lions already placed Justin Coleman (hamstring) on IR this week. Barring a quick recovery by Trufant, they'll be without their top two corners heading into a matchup with Aaron Rodgers, who just hung four touchdowns on the Vikings.
To make matters worse, backup CB Darryl Roberts, who was forced into action against the Bears, also missed practice Wednesday due to a calf injury.
At the moment, Detroit's healthy cornerbacks are Okudah, Amani Oruwariye, Tony McRae, practice-squader Dee Virgin and newcomer Chris Jones who was signed off the Cardinals' practice squad Wednesday. Someone -- perhaps Okudah -- will have to cover three-time Pro Bowler Davante Adams on Sunday.
On the offensive side, rookie Quintez Cephus will continue to see an expanded role if Golladay remains sidelined. And Tyrell Crosby will step in again for Vaitai.
