Jared Goff's first pass of the night went for a two-yard loss. His second went for a pick. And for a moment, Ryan Fitzpatrick had to feel pretty smart. The former NFL quarterback had called Goff a "poor man's Matt Ryan" on the Amazon pregame show Thursday night.

From that point on, Goff was 22-of-32 for 226 yards and a touchdown -- good for a passer rating of 101.8 -- in the Lions' dominant win over the Packers at Lambeau Field. And when he joined the Amazon panel for the postgame show, Goff threw Fitzpatrick's words back in his face. He couldn't resist.

Responding to a question from Fitzpatrick about the way he bounced back after the interception, Goff said, "Thought I played better throughout the rest of the game. Hope it’s up to your standard. I didn’t know if it was a poor man’s anything, but it’s OK, I heard about it."

Fitzpatrick was speechless. The rest of the set, Richard Sherman in particular, lost it. Goff smiled and said, "Matt Ryan’s a hell of a player. I’m giving you a hard time. I appreciate it, man."

If you're going to come at Jared Goff, best not miss.
