Jim Harbaugh loves what he's seen out of Aidan Hutchinson and the Lions this season. Of course, he loves his brother a little more.
With the Lions preparing to face John Harbaugh and the Ravens this week in a battle of two first-place teams, Jim Harbaugh would be lying if he said he's not pulling for Baltimore. He also expects it to be a knock-down, drag-out fight from start to finish.
"Man, just thinking about it, that’s going to be a game. That is going to be a football game," Harbaugh said Tuesday on 97.1 The Ticket. "The physicality. I’m just picturing that right now. That is going to be on. And I’ll be rooting for the Ravens. I love Aidan, I do, but that’s my brother."
The 5-1 Lions, winners of four straight, head to Baltimore with the NFL's No. 3 offense and No. 7 defense. The 4-2 Ravens, coming off a win in London, have the NFL's No. 2 defense and No. 11 offense. It should make for quite a show on Sunday. The Ravens opened as 2.5-point favorites.
"That’s going to be one of those that boy, they’re going to be playing hard," said Harbaugh. "I'm picturing how hard the Lions are going to be playing, I'm picturing how hard the Ravens are going to be playing. Probably going to be a lot like the Michigan-Michigan State game, in a lot of ways."
Harbaugh had high praise for Dan Campbell's Lions last week, saying, "That team is really put-together." This week, he'll be rooting for his brother's team to pull them apart.
