Karsch and Anderson are back with their annual Bold Ass Predictions for the Lions -- and "it's always funny," says Karsch, "because at the end of the year there's always two or three of them that we're like, 'Oh my god, that actually happened.'"

Will any of these happen? With the Lions kicking off the NFL season Thursday night against the Chiefs, Karsch and Gator deliver three Bold Ass Predictions each:

Karsch: "David Montgomery leads the NFC in rushing with over 1,300 yards."

Gator: "Jared Goff will start 16 games and finish in the top 10 of MVP voting. He won’t start Game 17, because he doesn’t have to."

Karsch: "Lions trade a second-round pick for WR Davante Adams at the trade deadline. Tough to give up a second, but he’ll be having a good year."

Gator: "Jack Campbell will lead the team in tackles with more than 150. Hard to do with Doug Karsch on his leg, but he’ll get it done."

Karsch: "Stoney goes out (in his final season hosting the morning show) with his hometown team Philly hosting his hometown team Detroit in the NFC title game."

Gator: "Brian Branch will take a fumble AND an interception back for a touchdown this year."
