Kenny Golladay limped off the field late in the first half of Detroit's Week 8 loss to the Colts, and hasn't returned to it since.
And he won't be returning Sunday when the Lions take on the Washington Football Team at Ford Field. Golladay has officially been ruled out after missing his second straight week of practice due a hip injury.
Which is an obvious problem for Detroit, against the No. 1 pass defense in the NFL. The Lions are 3-1 this season when Golladay plays all four quarters. They're 0-4 without him.
Fueled by a loaded defensive line, Washington is allowing a paltry 185.6 passing yards per game.
The good news is that it appears T.J. Hockenson, who missed practice Thursday due to a toe injury, is tracking to play. He returned to practice Friday in a limited capacity and is questionable for Sunday.
The onus will be on Hockenson and Marvin Jones to step up for Matthew Stafford in Golladay's absence.
Also questionable for Sunday are OL Halapoulivaati Vaitai (foot), WR Jamal Agnew (ribs), G Joe Dahl (back), DT Nick Williams and LB Jarrad Davis.
All other players who appeared on this week's injury report, including Matthew Stafford (neck), were full participants at Friday's practice and do not carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's game.
