Sheila Ford Hamp and the Lions promised a 'thorough and comprehensive' search for their next general manager and next head coach.
In that regard, they've delivered.
After making Todd Bowles their seventh candidate for head coach, the Lions have identified their 12th candidate for GM: Colts executive Ed Dodds.
Dodds, who's served as assistant GM for Indianapolis the past three seasons, will interview with the Lions on Tuesday, according to the Free Press. He recently took himself out of consideration for the GM job with the Panthers.
Prior to joining the Colts in 2017, Dodds spent 10 years in the front office of the Seahawks, where he evaluated both college and pro talent. He helped Seattle to five division titles, two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl championship.
