The Lions were 2-4 and staring at another grim November.
A minute later, they were .500 and back in the playoff race.
Thanks to a vintage game-winning drive by Matthew Stafford and a 48-yard extra point by Matt Prater with zeroes on the clock, the Lions clawed victory from the jaws of defeat Sunday against the Falcons.
Naturally, they were feeling themselves when they got back to the locker room. Linebacker Reggie Ragland broke out a giant Boombox to celebrate the win in style.
And Matt Patricia was fired up when he broke down the team.
"Unbelievable situational football! Unreal! Everybody just dialed in, going through every single play, one play at a time, take the emotion out of it, and that's what happens, man. That was fu**ing awesome! Great win!" Patricia said.
Patricia has stressed the importance this season of avoiding the emotional highs and lows of a game. The Lions did that Sunday and wound up on top.
