Lions have six of NFL's 'least watchable' games in 2022

Aside from maybe the season opener against the Eagles and a Thanksgiving Day clash with Josh Allen and the Bills, the Lions' 2022 schedule isn't rife with juicy matchups -- which is to be expected for a team coming off its fourth straight last-place finish.

In fact, according to one study, the Lions have about a quarter of the NFL's 25 least watchable games this season.

Analyzing every matchup this season based on projected win totals, Super Bowl odds and additional factors like rivalries, national TV coverage and 'major secondary storylines' (such as quarterback duels, playoff rematches, etc.), Bookies.com came up with the 25 most and least watchable games on the NFL's 272-game slate -- maybe fans can watch them at Bookies in Downtown Detroit.

The Lions, to no surprise, were not among the most watchable. But they had six games among the least watchable, including No. 2 overall: at the Jets in Week 15.

Also among the top 25 least watchable:
- Week 4 vs. Seahawks (No. 10)
- Week 13 vs. Jaguars (No. 11)
- Week 11 at Giants (No. 14)
- Christmas Eve (Week 16) at Panthers (T-17)
- Week 10 at Bears (No. 24)

The least watchable game of the season, according to Bookies, is Texans at Bears in Week 3.

The three most watchable are Bills at Chiefs (AFC Championship rematch) in Week 6, Packers at Buccaneers (Brady vs. Rodgers) in Week 3, and Bills at Rams (potential Super Bowl preview) in Week 1.
