Brad Holmes and the Lions are going all in up front.

A week after drafting Penei Sewell seventh overall to bolster an already strong offensive line, the Lions have signed Frank Ragnow to a four-year extension that makes him the highest-paid center in the NFL, according to Adam Schefter.

The deal is worth $13.5 million per year, per Tom Pelissero, and will keep Ragnow in Detroit through 2026. The Pro Bowler and second-team All-Pro last season was under contract through 2022 after Detroit picked up his fifth-year option last week.

At the time, the two highest-paid centers in the NFL were Cory Linsley of the Packers and Ryan Kelly of the Colts, each with an annual salary of $12.5 million.

Now Ragnow has surpassed them.

He'll anchor an offensive line in Detroit featuring Sewell at right tackle and Taylor Decker at left tackle. That trio alone could give the Lions one of the top five offensive lines in the NFL for years to come.
