The Lions are set to be without RB David Montgomery and OL Jonah Jackson for their Monday Night Football showdown against the Raiders.
The team released its final injury report on Saturday, listing Montgomery (ribs) and Jackson (ankle) as out, while OL Frank Ragnow (toe/calf) is doubtful.
Four other players – Benito Jones, Josh Paschal, Malcolm Rodriguez and Halapoulivaati Vaiti – are listed as questionable.
Detroit will be without Montgomery, the leading rusher, for the second straight week after he left the game in the second quarter two weeks ago at Tampa Bay.
Montgomery is dealing with multiple rib injuries and is hoping the bye week following Monday’s game in Detroit will help him get back to full strength, according to a report from The Detroit Free Press.
Through five games Montgomery leads the team in rushing yards (385), carries (94) and touchdowns (6).
