Troy Weaver and the Pistons have looked into a big move ahead of Thursday night's NBA Draft.

The club has "made inquiries" to the 76ers about a potential trade for veteran forward -- and former Piston -- Tobias Harris, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Cavaliers and Pacers have also reportedly inquired about Harris, with the Pacers "showing the most interest."

Harris, 30, averaged 14.7 points and 5.7 rebounds last season, his fifth with the 76ers. That marked a step back for the 12-year vet, who had averaged 19.0 points and 6.8 rebounds over the prior five seasons. He shot about 39 percent from three last season.

The 76ers are looking to recoup draft capital ahead of a draft where they don't have a pick. The Pistons hold picks Nos. 5 and 31 and a few young players who might intrigue Philadelphia, but the 76ers are said to be "overvaluing Harris" on the trade market and seeking “outrageous packages in return."

Harris is entering the final season of his contract that comes with a $39.3 million salary next season. "While there’s a lot of speculation that he could be dealt, per The Inquirer, "a draft-night deal is unlikely."
