The Pistons unveiled a new jersey Thursday that pays homage to the historic St. Cecilia's gym in Detroit.
Designed in collaboration with Big Sean, the Detroit-raised rapper as well as the Creative Director of Innovation for the Pistons, the City Edition jerseys are colored green to match the St. Cecilia's logo and the shorts are adorned with a replica of 'The Saint's' storied stained-glass window.

The quote inscribed on the court floor at the gym — "Where stars are made, not born" — is also featured on the jersey, along with Big Sean's signature. A trio of stars on the jersey and the shorts symbolize the Pistons' three NBA championships.
The uniform will be worn for six games exclusively during the 2022-23 season.
"St. Cecilia's for decades served as a beacon of hope for Detroiters and a safe haven for basketball players to play. Our City Edition uniform offers the opportunity to tell the story of the gym known as 'The Saint," said Alicia Jeffreys, the Pistons chief marketing officer.
The City Edition jersey are available for purchase on the Pistons online store and the team store at Little Caesars Arena.
