The Pistons and Knicks have been friendly trade partners the past few years. Are they about to link up again?

The Knicks have reportedly been pursuing Saddiq Bey ahead of Thursday's trade deadline, and the Pistons have shown recent interest in Knicks forward Cam Reddish.

Per SNY's Ian Begley, "The Knicks have had contact more recently with Detroit on a potential Reddish deal, so keep an eye there."

Reddish has played sparingly for the Knicks this season, averaging 8.4 points in 20 games (8 starts). He's also shooting just 30 percent from three, but the former 10th overall pick still has enough potential to take a chance on.

Troy Weaver and the Pistons would want more than just Reddish in exchange for Bey, of course. A pick and a player feels like the minimum price. While Bey hasn't taken the third-year step the Pistons were hoping for, he still projects as a piece of their future.

They'll only trade him ahead of the deadline if it makes their future brighter.
