The Pistons have unveiled their 2025-26 City Edition uniform, which celebrates iconic moments of the franchise's past and present.
The latest design is a remix of the 2021-22 City Edition uniform. It brings back the lightning bolt on the side panels of the jersey and the shorts that was a hallmark of Detroit Basketball in the 1970s and 1980s. The oil gray uniform also incorporates colors like maroon, sundial yellow and teal that harken back to different eras in franchise history.
The shorts pair the Pistons' current primary logo with the 'Detroit Pistons Basketball Club' emblem first used when the franchise relocated from Fort Wayne to Detroit in 1957. Centered on the waistband is the alternate flaming horse logo, recalling the teal-era identity of the late ‘90s and early 2000s.
The Pistons will host eight City Edition Nights this season at Little Caesars Arena, starting with the debut of the uniforms on Wednesday night against the Eastern Conference rival Bulls. City Edition Nights will also feature a special-edition floor highlighted by the flaming horse logo at center court.
The new uniforms can be purchased at Pistons313shop.com and at the team store at LCA starting on Nov. 12. A full list of Pistons City Edition Nights can be found at pistons.com/themenights.
