After a bright 2-1 start to the young season, the Pistons have now dropped four in a row after losing to the Suns 120-106 on Sunday at Little Caesars Arena.

Detroit had no answer for Kevin Durant, who put up a season-high 41 points, while Eric Gordon had 21 and Grayson Allen had 14.

While Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 26, it was rookie guard Marcus Sasser who turned heads on Sunday.

Sasser finished with a career-best 22 points, starting the day a perfect 4-for-4 from 3-point range. He also dished out four assists.

That performance comes after putting up 19 points on 5-of-8 from deep and three assist in Thursday’s loss at New Orleans.

Jaden Ivey missed Sunday’s game due to illness.

The Pistons have a quick turnaround, hosting Steph Curry and the Warriors Monday night.
