But the anticipation was still killing everyone. Any iota of doubt that the Pistons would draft someone other than Cade Cunningham with the No. 1 overall pick in Thursday night’s NBA Draft was wiped away when Adam Silver announced his name.

Even Cade himself seemed excited to be heading to Detroit, pulling out the buffs, as many on Twitter were hoping for throughout the week. Cunningham said he's "all the way in" and ready to be a Piston.
