The Pistons will be sellers at the trade deadline.

They might be buyers, too.

Detroit is interested in trading for Magic forward Aaron Gordon, according to NBA insider Chris Haynes.

Gordon is "open to a change of scenery," according to Haynes, and the Pistons are among three teams "inquiring" about a trade. The Rockets and the Nuggets are the others.

The Magic have attached a "substantial price tag" to the 25-year-old, Haynes reports.

Gordon, the fourth overall pick in 2014, has averaged 13.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 20 games this season. He's shooting a career-high 36.5 percent from three.

He would be another young player with a high ceiling for the rebuilding Pistons. He's signed through next season, with an $18.1 million cap his this year and $16.5 million next year.

The downside is that Gordon's scoring has decreased four seasons in a row after he averaged 17.6 points per game in 2017-18.

Pistons GM Troy Weaver has shown a liking for former lottery picks in his first season at the helm. He signed Josh Jackson and Jahlil Okahfor in the offseason and traded for Dennis Smith Jr. in February. All three were top-10 picks.

The trade deadline is March 25.
