Delon Wright turned a good opportunity with the Pistons into the best season of his career. And the Pistons turned Wright into two draft picks and a veteran point guard.
Detroit has traded Wright to the Kings for two second-round picks and Cory Joseph, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
The second-rounders will come in 2021 via the Lakers and in 2024 via the Kings, according to Wojnarowski. Detroit now has three picks in the second round of this year's draft.
The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m.
Acquired in a trade with the Mavs last offseason, Wright started a career-high 31 games for the Pistons in the absence of rookie point guard Killian Hayes and wound up averaging career-highs in points (10.4) and assists (5.0).

Joseph, 29, gives Detroit another veteran guard to play alongside Hayes once the seventh overall pick returns. He's averaging 6.6 points in 41 games this season and will be a free agent this summer.
