The Detroit Tigers are marking their 25th year at Comerica Park by making "some of the most significant upgrades to the fan experience since the ballpark opened," the club announced Thursday.
Next season, the Tigers are introducing premium seating at Comerica Park, including an exclusive Home Plate Club that will feature a private bar and an "expansive fine dining experience" in a club below the stands behind home plate as well as a concierge team for in-seat service.
The Home Plate Club, deemed "a top-tier baseball experience infused with all-inclusive amenities and accommodations," will offer fans the choice to watch the action from cushioned seats behind home plate or in elevated loge boxes between the bases.
Ryan Gustafson, the CEO of Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, said that this is part of the Tigers' "ongoing commitment to providing a first-class fan and player experience" and that "adding exclusive, premium seating options is feedback we’ve heard consistently."
“We are thrilled to unveil these exciting upgrades during the 2025 season," Gustafson said.
Construction on the projects will begin this year and will be completed on a rolling basis into next season. The upgraded seating behind home plate will be completed for the 2025 home opener, while the club beneath the stands will finished during the season.
The Home Plate Club, which you can learn more about here, will also feature VIP parking, a private entrance and private restrooms.
