Known for one of the most iconic logos in baseball, the Tigers will unveil an alternate look this season.
Detroit is one of nine MLB teams that will debut its City Connect uniform between Opening Day and the All-Star Break, continuing a league-wide rollout that began in 2021. The uniform is meant to capture the personality and spirit of each team's home city "to bring the clubs and their communities together," per MLB.com.
The Guardians, Twins, Blue Jays, Rays, Cardinals, Phillies and Mets will also debut their City Connect uniforms this season, joining the 20 clubs that have debuted theirs over the previous three years.
