Aaron Henry is going pro.
Michigan State's junior forward announced Monday that he's declaring for the NBA Draft and intends to sign with an agent.
"Being a professional basketball player has been my dream since I was a kid and after receiving guidance from my parents and my coaching staff, I will be declaring for the 2021 NBA Draft with plans to sign with an agent," Henry said in a statement shared on Instagram.
He added: "My time at Michigan State has prepared for anything and I will always be a Spartan for Life. #Go Green"
Henry was Michigan State's leading scorer this season with 15.4 points per game -- the Spartans' only player to average double digits. He also led the team in assists (3.6) and tied for the lead in rebounds (5.6).
While his shooting might limit his upside in the NBA, Henry's athleticism should be enough to make him a second-round pick.
