A day after making history with the first combined no-hitter in franchise history, the Tigers’ series finale with the Blue Jays ended in heartbreak Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers held a 3-1 lead over their rivals from Toronto with two outs in the ninth inning, but Danny Jansen hit a two-run shot off Alex Lange to tie the game, and the Jays stole the game in the 10th.

Despite holding the Blue Jays scoreless through six innings, the loss sends the Tigers to 11 games under .500 heading into the All-Star Break.

The Tigers opened the scoring in the second inning, thanks to a Miguel Cabrera single and Riley Greene hit a solo home run.

Greene returned to the team Saturday in a big way, going 2-for-2 with two walks in his first game since May 30.
