Thursday evening's game between the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers will not take place due to the Twins reportedly voting to not play the game.
Protests across professional sports have postponed NBA Playoffs games, NFL practices and Major League Baseball.
The Tigers were scheduled to begin a four game series with the Twins.
Minnesota has been at the center of civil unrest since George Floyd died at the hands of cops in May. Minneapolis has been rocked by a series of fires and looting events which briefly abated, but launched again last night following the shooting of Jacob Blake by police earlier this week in Kenosha, Wisc.
