Pittsburgh native, former NFL punter, talk show host and WWE commentator Pat McAfee put one a show Sunday night during his WrestleMania match.

While he is normally behind the commentary desk on “Smackdown”, McAfee put on his wrestling boots for a match against Austin Theory at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
Not only did the Plum native display some amazing moves, including a top rope suplex, he was also able to beat Theory.
Then after the match, it got even crazier, with McAfee wrestling against 76-year-of WWE owner Vince McMahon, a match he somehow lost.
But his night wasn’t over yet.
WWE legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin came down to the ring, gave McMahon an awful-looking “Stone Cold Stunner” and then celebrated with McAfee with a bunch of beers before giving McAfee a “Stunner” of his own. One that he sold to perfection, spitting out beer as he fell to the mat.
Professional wrestling is well known as a pre-scripted affair with the results being predetermined, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less athletic.
Wrestlers have to be on top of their physical game and be able to react at a moment’s notice so their opponent doesn’t get seriously hurt.
McAfee put on a great showing and what may be most important, he has personality.
Maybe more important than the physical wrestling itself is the way a person is able to connect with the audience and McAfee did it to perfection, even managing to pour some of Stone Cold’s Broken Skull American Lager down his throat while he recovered from the “Stunner.”
