The police video was obtained by TMZ sports this week and appeared to show Hughes spilling his guts on the side of the road multiple times while officers were busy arresting Kearse for a DWI on Oct. 27 in Minneapolis.
Kearse allegedly bypassed a barricade driving illegally on a closed highway around 3:15 a.m. while Hughes was in the backseat of the car. In the video, Kearse can be seen going through a sobriety test, and Hughes can be seen swinging the back door of the car open and vomiting multiple times because of his alcohol consumption.
One cop can be heard in the video saying Kearse failed a breathalyzer test with a BAC of .124, well above the legal limit of .08.
When the cops went to see Hughes after arresting Kearse, they found a loaded gun underneath his feet. Kearse admitted to owning the gun without a permit, and Hughes was not charged with anything.
On the other hand, Kearse received five misdemeanor charges, including DWI and possession of a pistol while under the influence of alcohol, TMZ reported.
Kearse signed in free agency with the Dallas Cowboys, and Hughes was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in May.
