RADIO.COM Sports NFL Week 3 expert picks
If you love great NFL matchups, well, you're going to love Week 3 of the 2020 season.
In the 4:25 window on Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks will welcome the Dallas Cowboys to CenturyLink Field for FOX's "America's Game of the Week." Though the Cowboys are coming off of one of the more improbable victories in recent memory, they'll have to slow down Russell Wilson to avoid falling to 1-2. Wilson has tossed nine touchdowns in the first two weeks of the 2020 season, and has become the extremely early favorite to win the NFL MVP.
Speaking of team's looking to avoid falling to 1-2, the New Orleans Saints will have their work cut out at home as they host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, who are scalding-hot out of the gates. The same can't be said for the Saints' future Hall of Fame quarterback, as Drew Brees has thrown for just three touchdowns and is only averaging 6.9 yards per pass attempt through the season's first two games.
For at least one week, though, Monday Night Football will once again be appointment viewing. The defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs will put their 2-0 record up against the Baltimore Ravens, who are also off to a 2-0 start. In addition to being the latest installment of a budding rivalry between Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, Monday evening's game could decide the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, which will take on greater important with only one team getting a first-round bye in 2020.
