The fan who caught Albert Pujols’ 700th home run decided against giving it back.
That shouldn’t be an issue for Aaron Judge’s 61st home run ball.
The New York Yankees slugger tied Roger Maris’ American League home run record Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays, clubbing dinger No. 61 as his mother and Maris’ son watched together. It was a cool moment at Rogers Centre, and getting the ball back to Judge should be nary an issue.
Reason being: Blue Jays bullpen coach Matt Buschmann caught it.
The Yankees have seven more games left this regular season, so Judge still has some time to hit No. 62.
