Jeremy Lin recently spoke out about the recent spike in crimes against Asian-Americans amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, saying that “it goes from anger to just heartbreak.”

The former Knick and Net added to that on Friday, posting a piece on his Facebook page where he revealed that “being a 9 year NBA veteran doesn't protect me from being called "coronavirus" on the court” and asked “is anyone listening?”

Lin is the first player of Chinese-American descent to play in the NBA, and is currently with the G-League’s Santa Cruz Warriors after spending last season in China. The 32-year-old is hoping to return to the NBA, where he has played parts of nine seasons with eight teams and won an NBA title with the Raptors in 2019.
