DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Conor McGregor wants to bring the octagon to AT&T Stadium, and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appears to willing to make it happen.
"Very much open to it. Very open to it. I'm a real admirer of his. He's one of the neatest individuals I've met, period," Jones said of McGregor. "He has an unbelievable personality and charisma. He's special. It would be quite a day for AT&T Stadium to have him."
The legendary MMA fighter took to social media to announce that he's accepted a UFC bout with Dustin Poirier in January -- and angled for it to be held at Jerry World.
The fight would be held on Jan. 23, McGregor said, and his hope is to see it staged in "Cowboy stadium."
