Justin Jefferson and the Griddy dance are going where no NFL player has gone before: Fortnite.

The popular video game announced on Monday that the Minnesota Vikings star’s popular touchdown dance, known as “The Griddy,” will be featured as a Fortnite celebration, also known as an emote.

Jefferson retweeted the news and tagged the creator of the dance, Allen Davis.

Jefferson is the first NFL player to be featured in the game, which is produced by the video game company Epic Games — which has a partnership with the NFL.

Jefferson, who was the runner-up for Offensive Rookie of the Year, burst onto the scene with the Vikings and broke Randy Moss’ rookie record for receiving yards and hauled in seven touchdowns.

The wide receiver celebrated each touchdown by doing “The Griddy,” which he first began doing as a freshman at LSU.

Jefferson had seen Davis’ dance take off in a New Orleans high school and it became the LSU’s team celebration during its national championship run in 2019.
