NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter was arrested on Monday for allegedly assaulting his former WNBA player girlfriend.
Officials received a 911 call at 6:45 a.m. regarding an assault at The Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza hotel.
According to police, the 26-year-old woman was struck in the body and alleged that Porter put his hands around her neck.
Police say Porter, whose official name is Brian Porter has been charged with assault in the second degree and strangulation.
Authorities described the two as having a domestic relationship.
