Lindsey Vonn and P.K. Subban have announced they've ended their year-plus engagement.

Retired ski racer Vonn and NHL player Subban took to social media on Tuesday to announce they were calling it quits on their relationship after being engaged since the summer of 2019.

Vonn took to her Instagram with a photo of herself alongside Subban writing, "Over the past 3 years PK and Ih ave had some incredible times together. He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal."

She continued, "However, after much consideration we have decided to move forward separately. We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time."

Subban took to his own Instagram with a similar sentiment, posting the same photo. He wrote, "Lindsey is one of the most kind and caring people I know. I will always treasure our time as a couple together and the many laughs we shared."

He continued, "After much consideration, we have decided to move forward separately." He ended his post with the same request for privacy that Vonn shared herself.

TMZ reports that the sports power couple has been together since "at least 2018."

In the three years they'd been together, fans of the power couple were unable to see any signs of turbulence in the relationship. The two vacationed in many different places, and Vonn seemed especially proud of the engagement ring she received from Subban.

The two were slated to get married this year but postponed the wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic. In November, Vonn shared with TMZ Live that they were looking forward to their rescheduled wedding in 2021.
