That's because point guard Luka Doncic "is expected to make his return to the lineup" when the Mavs take on the Kings for the first game of their scheduled back-to-back in Sacramento, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Doncic missed the last three games since suffering a heal contusion against the Pelicans on Feb. 2 and has been receiving treatment ever since. Doncic re-joined his teammates on the road trip, and his playing status for Friday's game was upgraded to questionable on the team's injury report Thursday.

With Doncic set to return, all eyes will be on him and new Maverick Kyrie Irving, who shined in his debut with Dallas in the team's 110-104 win over the Clippers on Wednesday, scoring 24 points on 9 of 17 shooting.
