Former 76ers guard Markelle Fultz tore his ACL on Wednesday night and is now out for the season.
The 22-year-old former Sixers No. 1 overall pick was off to the best start of his career, scoring 15, 21, and 26 points respective for the Orlando Magic in their first three games.
Fultz, who is still struggling with his jump shot, was starting and averaging about 30 minutes per game for the Magic, who are off to a 6-2 start.
Here is a video of the injury.
Fultz posted this message after the game, saying the "adversity will only make me stronger."
