Michigan State gets its first top-10 opponent of the Mel Tucker era on Saturday against No. 10 Indiana.
And it looks like the Spartans will be taking the field wearing some new helmets. Or old helmets, depending on your point of view.
Michigan State released some throwback helmets Thursday on Twitter that feature the block 'S' instead of the Spartan silhouette.
In addition, the players' numbers appear on the left side of the helmet instead of the logo, a nod to former coach George Perles.
