COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOX) - The University of Missouri football game on Saturday against Georgia has been postponed due to a "combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within one position group of the Tigers' football program."
The team made the announcement Wednesday morning.
This comes one day after three other SEC games set for this Saturday were postponed: Alabama vs. LSU, Tennessee vs. Texas A&M and Auburn vs. Mississippi State.
The Mizzou vs. Georgia game could be made up on Dec. 19.
This is the second Mizzou game that has been postponed due to COVID-19. Vanderbilt had an outbreak of cases a few days before the game that was set for Oct. 17. That game will now be played on Dec. 12.
