Major League Baseball really dropped the ball on this one.
The league decided to hold its Gold Glove Award show on ESPN Tuesday night – which happened to also be Election Day.
With this year's presidential race contentious and resulting in historic voting numbers, many were not thrilled with MLB and Rawlings promoting and holding the awards on a night where sports takes a back seat.
Fans took to Twitter to roast the league, with many mocking MLB for continually failing to grasp the best way to promote the sport.
Fire whoever scheduled this.

I know that it wouldn't bring in huge numbers anyways, but why does MLB try to hide it's sport every chance it gets
