
(KMOX) - If you're following the Albert Pujols will-he, won't-he retire rollercoaster this offseason, buckle up for a wild ride.

The 41-year-old former St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Angles and Los Angeles Dodgers first baseball/designated hitter decided to play in the Dominican Winter League this offseason for the first time in his 21-year professional career. And the free agent made it a special debut.
In a tie game in the bottom of the 10th, he hit a walk-off infield single to earn a victory for his Leones del Escogido. It wasn't a classic Pujols moon shot, but a clutch hit and big-time hustle is nothing to balk at:
The Dominican Republic native also had a blast in the clubhouse celebrating the game-winning hit with his team. The party was epic, to say the least:
There is still no word on if the first-ballot Hall of Famer decides to call it a career or try to come back for at least one more season in 2022.
