Five Star QB Dylan Raiola, who had narrowed his search down to Georgia and Nebraska, committed to Kirby Smart and UGA earlier today on social media.

Raiola, the 6'3, 220 pound QB out of Phoenix, AZ, is the #1 ranked QB in the Class of 2024 and the #1 ranked player overall in that class and will become UGA's 6th five star player to join the Georgia program since Kirby Smart took over.
Dylan Raiola will join a QB room that could consist of Carson Beck, Brock Vandagriff, and Gunner Stockton if none of them depart before he joins the program, although most feel it's likely that at-least one of them will transfer out.
For Georgia and Kirby Smart, it's a chance to continue the trend of top recruiting classes and grabbing the #1 overall player certainly reinforces that as Raiola could help bring other top talents to Athens with him.
