DirecTV's Red Zone Channel's Andrew Siciliano has become a part of many NFL fans and fantasy football enthusiast's NFL Sunday routine, but this week he was not there.
For the first time in 16 years, Siciliano was unable to host Red Zone as he was replaced by broadcaster Dan Hellie. Siciliano posted on Twitter that he was watching from home after testing positive for COVID-19.
"This is the season where we all have to be flexible," he said. "Players, teams and coaches and even broadcasters, too. Because of that I am going to be on the couch this afternoon. I am going to miss the show for the first time ever. Episode 261. Because after testing negative twice during the week, I tested positive this morning."
Siciliano added that he has since tested negative after the morning's positive test, but he was staying home out of a "super abundance of caution."
Siciliano added a picture of himself watching DirecTV's Sunday Ticket from his couch.
