Robert Griffin III is joining ESPN’s Monday Night Football team.
The former NFL quarterback, who began working for ESPN last year, will replace Randy Moss as part of ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” show, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.

Griffin, who last week said he was still staying in football shape just in case he got a call, has spent the last year as a college football analyst and appearing regularly on the network’s studio shows to talk both college and NFL.
He is replacing Moss, who has become a fixture on ESPN’s NFL coverage, after the Hall of Fame wide receiver expressed only wanting to do “Sunday NFL Countdown.” ESPN agreed to the arrangement after Moss received interest from Amazon, per Marchand.
ESPN's Monday Night crew has undergone quite a makeover this offseason, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman leaving FOX to call the Monday night games.
Meanwhile, Griffin will continue to call college games in addition to his role on “Monday Night Countdown.”
