Russell Wilson has a million-dollar body…literally

Is RW3 the next TB12?

Maybe, at least in his desire to play into his mid-40s, but Russell Wilson knows the price of staying in premium shape: at least $1 million a year, if not more, as he noted in a podcast appearance recently.

"I have a whole performance team. I've got a whole group – a full-time trainer that travels with me everywhere, a full-time physical therapist," Wilson said in an appearance on The Ringer's Bill Simmons Podcast. "I have a full-time massage person. We have two chefs, we have a whole performance team."

That trainer also works with wife and music star Ciara, as well, but Danger-Russ' entourage also includes one just for him: a mobility expert who makes sure he is always "moving the right way and everything else."

Wilson also revealed that he works out almost every day – literally – if not every single day.

"I do 365 (days a year)," Wilson said. "The only time I don't, I probably do 363. The reality is Christmas, depending on the circumstances, and usually, I do because usually have a game around then, and Thanksgiving."

Wilson's got the cash – he just signed a four-year, $140 million extension with the Seahawks – and the results: Seattle is 6-1, the best record in the NFC, and he has 2,151 yards and 26 TD against just six interceptions.

So good, we can't even make the "if this fails, he can always fall back on baseball" joke, given his status as a Yankees "prospect."
