The son of former Steelers quarterback, Bubby Brister, has been arrested following a fatal hit-and-run.
The incident happened over the weekend near LSU's campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Police say Andrew Brister IV turned himself in to authorities earlier this week after the incident that killed a 44-year-old man.
The Baton Rouge Advocate says the 21-year-old son of the two-time Super Bowl Champion was driving a black Ranger Rover SUV when he struck the victim.
Brister faces various charges and if convicted could spent 10 years in prison and face a fine of up to $5,000.
The younger Brister was quarterback at Northern Colorado in 2021.
The 60-year-old Brister, who retired in 2001, played with the Steelers between 1986-1992.
He won two Super Bowls backing up Hall of Fame Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway.
