Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL in Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed the news at Tuesday afternoon's press conference.
"It's a big blow for us," Ryans said, emphasizing Diggs' commitment to the team.
The Texans traded for Diggs from the Buffalo Bills this past offseason for a 2025 second-round pick. In eight games, Diggs has 47 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns. He also has a rushing touchdown this season.
Without him, the Texans will rely more on Tank Dell, Xavier Hutchinson, John Metchie III and Robert Woods.
