(SportsRadio 610) - Without their starting quarterback, defensive end, linebacker and top wide receiver, the Texans went to Nissan Stadium and beat the Tennessee Titans in overtime.

Houston won 19-16 on a last-second 54-yard field goal by Ka'imi Fairbairn, who kicked two field goals over 50 yards in his first game back after missing five games with a quadricep injury.

The Texans recorded seven sacks and held the Titans' offense to just 204 yards. Running back Devin Singletary ran for 121 yards on 26 carries, but it was his 41-yard catch and run on a Case Keenum scramble to help the Texans get in field goal range in overtime that set up the final score.

Singletary had a 34-yard game-winning touchdown run that was nullified by a holding penalty. But Fairbairn was able to nail the 54-yard field goal to improve Houston's record to 8-6.

Defensive end Jonathan Greenard had another excellent game, with 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble. Greenard now has a career-high 12.5 sacks on the season. Steven Nelson also intercepted Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis.

Keenum was 23-of-36 for 229 passing yards with a touchdown and an interception, which was a pick-six early in the game. His scramble on the play to Singletary in overtime was key.

Starting quarterback C.J. Stroud remained in concussion protocol going into this game and his status for next Sunday against the Cleveland Browns is unclear. But for now, the Texans remain in the thick of the playoff race.
