Tiki Barber will lose 'respect' for Saquon Barkley if he joins Eagles

Former Giants running back and WFAN radio host in New York Tiki Barber is furious at the idea of Saquon Barkley potentially joining the Eagles.

"The fact that Saquon would even contemplate going to play for that team in Philadelphia is insulting to his Giant history and legacy," Barber said. "Do not go to the Philadelphia Eagles, because if you do that appreciation and respect and reverence that we all have for you, Saquon, will be lost. It'll be gone. We want to still respect and love him."

Barber even brought 94WIP into the rant, mentioning 94WIP long-time radio host and Eagles' sideline radio analyst Howard Eskin and his son Spike Eskin, who recently decided to leave his brand manager role at WFAN to become a co-host on the 94WIP Afternoon Show.

"Don't let the Howard Eskin's of the world or his traitor son who is going down the road, influence you to go into the cesspool of the Philadelphia Eagles," Barber said. "You're going to turn into one of those people that we hate."

Howard Eskin reported on Thursday's 94WIP Morning Show that the Eagles have real interest in Barkley, who is set to become a free-agent next week.

The interest is "mutual" and Saquon Barkley to the Eagles is a "real possibility," NY Post NFL reporter Ryan Dunleavy added.
